Summer Fun

TJei is in a week-long cheer/spirit camp and Mia loves slipping in to hear the instructions and even do the routines when she thinks no one can see her. She is the cutest!

LOL She is so animated at times! We are on our way to the mountains and Mia is entertaining us as we travel along. What a character! :)

We saw elk and deer as we traveled along near Big Lake. There was little chance of getting good pictures of wildlife, not with the way the girls squealed, There, Grandma, over there!" They'd get so excited when we'd see animals...even cattle. :)

The girls are watching geese take flight across the lake. I am so glad they enjoyed the time we had in nature. We really must do it more often.

Mia loved being able to sit on Momma's (grandma's) lap and watch out the open window. :)

Then she got all shy. :)

Okay, I think this rock story is really cute. She is such a character! Earlier on the road we had stopped so TJei could take a pee. TJei decided to go off hiking to get closer to rocks so no one could "see" her. Ha! We were in the middle of nowhere (her words)! I told her to get back closer, "there are probably snakes by those rocks." As you can see, Mia was leary of the snakes that might be around the rocks. I couldn't believe it when she told me she was all scrunched up because there might be snakes.  :) Love that girl!

She was excited when grandma assured her there were no snakes around her rock!

Then Mia got upset when TJei wanted to move in on her rock. It's like she felt she was the one to take all the risks (snakes) why did she have to share with TJei? She just wasn't happy with the situation.

Then, TJei left and Mia was Queen of the Rock again!~ LOL Such a character. :)

We had so much fun exploring around on the mountain. We must do it again sometime soon!
